Dr.'s LEONARD and CHERRY, assisted by Dr.'s LIKES and DUFF, amputated a leg for JosephRUSH of Douglas Township last Tuesday.

Married on February 3rd, at the residence of the bride's parents near Winterset,with Rev. J. U. MCCLENAHAN officiating, were Mr. Samuel NEWLON and Miss Ella SEEVERS.
