Major Johnny McKibban fell off the rear of the passenger coach as it was leavingour depot grounds. He was cut quite severely about the head and bled profusely. Aftera short period of insensibility, he recovered and is now alright again.

A comet is now visible between the end of the tail of the great bear and the polarstar. It is said that a field glass renders it very easy to discover.

An 11 pound daughter born to Ed Conneran and wife.
