It seems as though the court house square has all the different kinds of tiresome (noise) music, such as cow-bells, cats, dogs, and all the other animal kingdom, assembled together there in the evening to make their melodious strains.

The depot is being built and the turn table put in.

The weather was so warm several days last week that during the middle of the day, work had to be suspended on the new Madisonian building.

On Monday evening of last week, the officials of the Methodist church met and decided to repair their church and rebuild their steeple. They adjourned late and within a few hours the lightening struck the steeple and saved them much of the trouble of taking it down. They are now rebuilding it and otherwise improving the house.
