On September 24^th, the marriage of Jonathan W. EGY and Susan C. SUTTER occurred with J. F. YERGER, M.G. presiding.

By order of the Postmaster General, mail for Winterset will come by stage from DeSoto instead of Van Meter. The new order is effective on October 1^st.

The marriage of A. C. MILLER and Mary JAMES took place on September 25^th, with J. F. YERGER, M.G. presiding.
