Samuel HILDEBRAND of Douglas township,
was killed by a falling tree.
On June 16th the marriage of Francis H. FORBES and
Mary E. ETCHISON took place, with S. W. BARROW, M.G. presiding.
A.M. WELCH, of Crawford township was killed in Des Moines when his team was frightened by a train and ran away.
The marriage of Joseph BRINSON and Mildred A. PEWITT occurred on June 19th, with Joseph G. MISSILDINE presiding over the ceremonies.
A daughter, Emaline was born on July 7th to William H. & Maria Bowlsby.
Owing to the dry weather, the use of firecracker are prohibited.
On June 16th the marriage of E. M. WELTY and Eliza J. WALM took place, with J. F. YERGER, M. G. presiding.
