John S. Bair died at his home near White Pigeon March 23,
1900. He was born July 30,1814 in Franklin County
Pennsylvania: was married to Sarah Kitt March 2, 1846. He
has been a resident of Keokuk County since 1865. United
with the Church of Christ at White Pigeon in 1871 and remained
faithful till death. He leaved an aged wife and fourteen
children all residents of Iowa. Eleven live in this county.
