Williamsburg [Iowa co. Iowa]:
--Word comes from Paso Robles, Cal., that Willis Williams, son of
J. M. Williams, and grandson of Richard Williams, the founder of
Williamsburg, is in Uncle Sam's service, having enlisted in the
signal service in the Eighty-seventh aero squadron. He is now in
training at Kelly's field, near San Antonio, Tex., and is
expecting any time to be sent to France. J. M. Williams is the
only son of the founder of Williamsburg. The town was founded on
May 20, 1856, sixty-one years ago.
