WHERE DOCTORS WILL LOCATE
Some of the Recent Graduates From College of Medicine Have Chosen
Locations
A question that confronts the graduates of professional schools
is where to locate. Several of those who finished their course in
the college of medicine have decided upon their future places of
business and have already begun their career or else will do so
in the near future. T.L. King who was for some time in the office
of Dr. Mullin has swung his shingle in the prosperous breezes of
West Union in Fayette county. T.H. Atkins who married a young
lady of Spirit Lake by the name of Miss Stoufer shortly after
commencement is making the sick well at Superior. W.V. Thornburg
is taking his precepter's practice in Redfield, Iowa. William
Wolverton, is appropriately located at Badger. Wm Bowser is at
the neighboring hamlet of Downey. M.M. [J.] Joynt purchased the
location of Dr. Falk at Jesup in Buchanan county. W.P.
Stoltenburg is attending to the practice of Dr. Kegel at Walcot.
"Ike" Messenge has not entered actual practice but is
selling medical books for a Chicago firm. W.L. Fox will be back
to the university in the fall and will have the position of
assistant demonstrator in anatomy. R.H. Hall is in partnership
with his father and Paul Hoffman is resident physician in Mercy
hospital in Davenport. Charles W. Ellyson and E.R. Walker have
formed a partnership and have their arrangements all but complete
for opening an office in Fort Dodge.
