Mr. Carroll Crane and Miss Gladys Williams of Glasgow gave
a little surprise to their many friends when they slipped away Wednesday and
were married at the Little Brown Church Wednesday afternoon. They returned to
the bride's home of Dr. and Mrs. Bishop Friday evening where they served a
wedding supper to a number of guests. On Saturday evening they went the groom's
home Mr. and Mrs. Walter Crane, where they served a supper to about thirty
guests. They received many nice and useful presents. They were given a chavari
at both homes, Glasgow and at the groom's home Saturday evening. The bride was
dressed in a lovely blue velvet, while the room wore a dark suit. We wish them
all the success in life and glad to know they will remain in our community as
Carroll has been a faithful attendent in Sunday School for a number of years and
we hope he and his wife will continue to come.
