Henry Bureker, about 54, well known resident of this city, died yesterday
morning at the home of his sister, Mrs. John Imes in Ottumwa. He died of
heart trouble. He was born in Germany. When a young man he moved to this
country and until a few years ago resided on a farm near Germanville. He is
survived by three sisters: Mrs. Imes of Ottumwa; Mrs. Kurtz of Pleasant
Plain; and Mrs. Arnatt of Emporia, Kans. and by three brothers, Joseph
Bureker of Pleasant Plain; Fred Bureker of Los Angeles, and Leo Bureker of
San Francisco. The funeral will be Monday morning from the Pleasant Plain
Catholic Church.
