- Lockridge celebrated Hallowe'en. Wednesday morning our citizens were greeted with a fine display of buggies, hay racks, cans of all sizes and shapes, farm implements, crates and other articles too numerous to mention, most of them reposing in  the main street. Perhaps mention should also be made of a dead hog found in the doorway of a local store. The platform in front of the Elliott grocery was full of buggies, and one or two allies were given a thorough and much needed cleaning. The city should thank those who did the job. Hardly a business house escaped- they were all visited in some way.
