Talbert Streets was in town last Saturday, and as usual,
patronized those saloon-keepers who are still selling liquor in
violation of the law until he became intoxicated, when he started
for his home about two miles north of Iron Hill. He took liquor
with him and it is presumed he drank of this until he became
unable to manage his team. At any rate, the team ran away. Mr.
Streets was thrown from the wagon and received injuries from
which he died Monday evening. A wife (second) and twenty children
survive him.
