Elmer Grieme, a young farmer of the Galva community, was married
Monday evening, April 25, to Bernadine Sansen of Alta. The
ceremony was held at St. John's Lutheran parsonage at Galva.
Word has been received from Dr. and Mrs. T.E. Hart, that his
mother passed away at Boone Sunday night.
C.W. Sankey, superintendent of the Ida Grove schools the past
eleven years, has been elected head of the schools at Firmont,
Minn.
Walter Seidler, a well-known resident of the Ida Grove community
for more than a third of a century, died at his home Sunday
evening, May 1. He was 71 years, 4 months and 26 days old.
A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Jeppe Larson Friday, April
29th.
The brooder house and 400 chickens burned at the Bart Van
Vickle's farm early Thursday morning.
