A.H. Aukerman, of Ida Grove, was elected president of the Maple
Valley association of firemen for the coming year, and it was
elected to hold the coming tournament at Sac City.
Marriages.
Miss Marian R. Ross and Carl Jessen were married Thursday evening
at the Church of God parsonage. The couple will go to
housekeeping on the Moorehead farm.
Miss Edna Joena of Denison and Walter Miller of Ida Grove were
married Sunday at the Lutheran parsonage in Denison. The
newlyweds will reside in Ida Grove.
Death.
Mrs. W.R. Abell, a prominent resident of Ida Grove died this
morning at the Ida Grove hospital from infection of the kidney.
Birth.
A son was born April 2 to Mr. and Mrs. Albert H. Anderson. They
now have two boys and one girl.
