Twin sons, were born Sept 18 to Mr. and Mrs. A.W. Coil. They have
been named Teddy and Hiram, in honor of Col. Roosevelt and Gov.
Hiram Johnson.
John L. Hanson of Schleswig suffered a compound fracture of his
leg in a run-away accident and was brought to the Conn hospital
for treatment. A metal plate was fastened to the bone in setting
the break.
John Wagner, 4 1/2 miles northeast of Arthur had a spectacular
fire Sunday night that destroyed six stacks of grain. Loss was
estimated between $500 and $600. The fire was started by a five
year old boy who had some matches. He was told to go after the
cattle and thought he would start a bonfire first.
E.C. Besore has raised some beautiful Spanish onions this year
that are the equal of the imported kind.
A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Emil Hargens Sept 18.
