Britt, and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Molander of
Humboldt, and Mike J. Loebig, son of E. N. Loebig of Wesley, were
united in marriage Tuesday, Feb. 18. The service was read at St.
Patricks church in Britt at nine oclock a.m.
The bride wore a bright blue dress with matching hat and
accessories. Alvina Oppedal of Wesley was bridesmaid and wore a
black taffeta dress with dark accessories. The bridegroom and his
best man, Eugene Loebig, a brother, wore oxford gray suits.
Mrs. Loebig is a 1933 graduate of Humboldt high school and for
one and one-half months was employed in the local reemployment
office, but has been at home since.
Because of bad weather and roads only 15 of 30 invited guests
were present at a dinner served following the ceremony in honor
of Mr. and Mrs. Loebig. The two-course dinner was served by Mrs.
Carl Fransen and daughter, Helen. After visiting among relatives,
the newly weds will live on a farm near Marion in Linn county.
