PERSONAL MENTION
Leone Munson, who teaches at Gaza, spent the week end at
her home here.
Harold Beers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Beers, fell from a tree
Saturday and broke his right arm.
Mr. and Mrs. John Adams visited Sunday at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Ray Seaver near Pioneer.
Mrs. L. W. Housel expects to leave some time next month for
Brownsville, Texas, where she will spend the winter.
Mrs. Guy Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Holden and children
visited Sunday afternoon at the home of Mrs. N. P. Holden at
Ottosen.
Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Phleger of Rutland, are spending the winter
months with their daughter Mrs. Mildred Cookley and family at
Evanston, Ill.
Mrs. Ralph R. Young of Dunlap, spent the week end at the Frank
Lovrien home. Jean Byers and Phil Lovrien of Des Moines, were
also week end guests at the Frank Lovrien home.
Mr. and Mrs. O. T. Sawyer of Minneapolis, were last Friday
visitors at Clear Lake and were accompanied from there by Mrs.
Sawyer’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. William McCord to Dakota
City, where the Sawyer’s visited at the home of his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Sawyer until Saturday noon. The McCord’s
visited at the Will Boothroyd home in Dakota City.
