Harry Breeds Honored on Silver Wedding Date
Observance of the Silver Wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs.
Harry Breed, of Humboldt, was made Sunday afternoon by the
keeping of Open House from two to five p.m. at the home of their
daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Don Sawyer, of Dakota City.
The afternoon was spent socially and light refreshments were
served during that time. Mr. and Mrs. Breed were married Dec. 28,
1910, at the home of Mrs. Breeds parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben
Molander in Humboldt. They are the parents of two daughters, Mrs.
Sawyer and Helen. Mr. Breed is employed by the Iowa Public
Service company.
Guests who called to extend congratulations and gifts to the
honored couple were: Mr. and Mrs. Clark Lane, Mrs. Sophia
Frederickson, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Sawyer, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Molander,
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Christiansen and son, Robert, Mr. and Mrs.
Stanley Nielsen. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Molander, Mr. and Mrs.
Leslie Molander, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Ford and daughter of Pioneer,
Harold Anderson, Oliva Anderson and Mrs. Azel Anderson of North
Humboldt, John Green of Des Moines and Helen Breed.
