DONALD SAWYER PASSES EXAMS FOR STATE BAR
Donald Sawyer, who operates the Sawyer service station
in Dakota City, was one of the candidates who successfully passed
their state bar examinations at Des Moines early this month. He
has been studying under Judge D. F. Coyle during the past three
years in preparation for the examinations.
Mr. Sawyer is a graduate of Humboldt high school and later
attended Drake University at Des Moines. He is a son of Mr. and
Mrs. Thomas Sawyer of Dakota City, and is a justice of the peace
in that town. It is understood that two young men from Pocahontas
who have been attending Judge Coyles law class, took the
bar examinations at the same time, but did not pass them
