DONALD SAWYER PASSES EXAMS FOR STATE BAR
Donald Sawyer, who operates the Sawyer service station in Dakota City, was one of the candidates who successfully passed their state bar examinations at Des Moines early this month. He has been studying under Judge D. F. Coyle during the past three years in preparation for the examinations.

Mr. Sawyer is a graduate of Humboldt high school and later attended Drake University at Des Moines. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Sawyer of Dakota City, and is a justice of the peace in that town. It is understood that two young men from Pocahontas who have been attending Judge Coyle’s law class, took the bar examinations at the same time, but did not pass them
