LOCAL HAPPENINGS

Charles Zear and family were Sunday visitors at Amos Goods.

Frank Stone is working for Carl Jarrard of near Brighton.

Mrs. Cecil Manning is recovering from a severe attack of pneumonia. Her sister, Miss Goldie Haifley who helped care for Mrs. Manning during her illness, return to her home near Pleasant Plain.

John VanSant and family have moved in with his mother, Mrs. Jane VanSant and will attend the farm for her the coming year.

It seems that the flu epidemic has nearly run its course in this neighborhood as only a few people have escaped it so far.

Exie Manning is recovering from an illness of several weeks duration. She was improved so as to be able to visit Anna Rich Thursday and Friday of last week.
