Last Monday morning, December 27, at eight o'clock in St.
Patrick's church Father Hanson united in marriage Mr. Ralph E.
Quirk of Vail and Miss Luella E. Murphy of Dunlap and Mr. Raymond
H. Rule and Miss Mary A. Murphy of Dunlap. The former were
accompanied by Miss Bernice Downey of Omaha and John
Murphy Jr. of Dunlap, as bridesmaid and groomsman, the latter by
Miss Katherine Murphy and William Murphy of Dunlap. Quite a
number of relatives and friends witnessed the solemn and joyous
event, which was followed by a high mass in which the choir
singing was rendered by the Quirk brothers of Vail with Miss Mary
Keane of Vail as organist. A wedding breakfast was served at the
Jensen hotel, after which the happy young couples departed on
their wedding tour. They are among the most worthy and respected
young people and their excellent record bespeaks for them a
career of genuine usefulness. The best wishes of all accompany
them for a calm and sunny voyage over the sea of wedded life.
