MR AND MRS. N.A. THOMAS ENTERTAIN
On Monday evening, October 20, a box supper was held at the N.A. Thomas home in honor of their daughter, Bernice.Those present were: Jas. Mulligan and wife, Sam Lee and wife, Geo. Lee and wife, Robt. Lee and wife, John Christensen and wife of Davenport, Iowa, Geo Price and wife, Alvia Cooper and wife, Mr. Neil, Mrs. Wm. McCreary, Misses Jennie Berk, Mildred Shields, Edith Keaines, Ada Neil and Pearl Rogers. Others came who were not expected.The evening was spent in dancing. The music was furnished by M.P. Hart, August Hatterman and Mrs. Price, after which the numerous boxes were sold. All reported a very enjoyable time, hoping Mrs. Thomas will give another entertainment soon.

J.A. Brainard, of Omaha, was a Dunlap visitor Monday.
Miss Aid’s dancing class of this place now numbers forty one.
Mrs. Rose Welcher spent Saturday with her daughter in Logan.
M.B. Bailey and daughter, Jessie, were Omaha visitors Friday last.
Mrs. E.L. Manchester and daughter, Marian were Omaha visitors last Friday.
Inger Nordaker has rented the Arch Cook home, and will live there this winter.
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hansen returned Saturday from Missouri Valley where they visited their daughter.
Miss Jennie Mitchell entertained about sixteen of her friends at her home Monday evening in honor of her birthday.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Cook took their little son, Jefferson, to Omaha Wednesday to have his tonsils and adenoids removed.
Mrs. Reuben Smith and daughter, Ruby, and Lincoln Walker, of Denison, spent Sunday at the J.H. Walker home.
Messrs. Clem Bowersox, L.D. Howorth and son, J. Calnan, and Dr. Landee were Omaha visitors Tuesday.
