The little adopted daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Green, whose
severe burning was mentioned last week by our Lee Center
correspondent, is doing nicely and will recover,though it is
likely some scars will remain about the neck and hands. She will
be remembered as Goldie Newton, who formerly lived here in Alden.
Miss Millie Gardner wil spend the summer with her sister, Mrs. R.
M. Rishworth.
Rhenius Wagner of LeGrand is installed as clerk at the O.F.
Wagner drug store.
Mrs. O. F. Wagner is under the care of the family doctor.
Mrs. F. L. Spencer visited at the Whited home, Eldora, yesterday.
Miss Lucille Crockett of Eldora, spend Easter with Alden
relatives.
