M. Pritchard started north Monday and will be joined by his brother, J. S. when they will go into Minnesota to buy up a lot of young cattle.

Mrs. M. F. Bigelow started this week for the old home in New York to visit her parents.

John Hunt and J. Cantwell exchanged places this week, and moved their personal effects.

A. M. Merrill moved on to his farm on Wednesday.

B. G. Buchanan has moved back into the old home, and rented the new place to Carl Kleppin, who has already moved in.

Hon. N. C. Deering, through his untiring efforts in behalf of his constituency, is fast gaining the reputation as the working member of the House.

Mr. Mont. Cooper, of Iowa Falls, and Miss Mary Jane Schields, of Williams, were married at the latter place, by the Rev. Sexton, on March 10th.

The Dows saloon was burglarized last week by some young chaps who skipped but were followed and caught. Mr. Charles Longley passed through this place on Thursday with one of the prisoners whom he captured at Marshalltown.

Frank Robinson drove within a few rods of a large wolf near Jos. Furry's the other day, and having his gun along let drive and knocked the chicken thief over; but when Frank went out to pick him up Mr Wolf jumped up and scampered away.
