Little Josie Ellen Haden Passed Away Thursday
Josie Ellen, daughter of Elbert and Josephine Haden was born
November 30, 1927 at King Daughters Hospital in Perry IA. Her
mother passed away 4 days after her birth. Since that time she
has been cared for by her aunt, Mrs. Alice Steel and her
grandmother Skinner at Perry until 4 weeks ago when she came to
the home of her grandmother Haden in Panora. She passed away Feb.
14th 1929 at the age of 1 year, 2 months and 14 days. Although
she was afflicted all her life, she bore the pain very patiently.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Irving Haughtelin Friday
afternoon at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Haden. The entire community
extend their sympathy to all the relatives. Burial in the West
cemetery.
