DEATH OF I.N. DOYEL
Resident of Linden Died Sunday at Age of 60 Years
Isaac Newton Doyel, who was born in Crawfordsville Indiana
October 18, 1856, died at his home in Linden Sunday March 4, 1917
aged 60 years, 4 months, and 14 days. He came to Iowa in 1880 and
has since lived in the state. He was united in marriage to Emma
Josephine Gilbert December 23, 1883. To this union six children
were born, four of whom are still living: Loftus L. of Sacramento
CA, Kathryne of San Francisco CA, Mrs. Harriett Gander of Gage
MT, and Hazel of Glenwood IA. Little Nora, aged 2 years preceded
her father to the home beyond in 1900 and Lovie in 1911. Besides
the wife and children he leaves 4 brothers, 3 sisters, and a
large circle of friends. He had no relatives living near except a
neice, Mrs. J.F. Maddick of Panora IA. His aged mother preceded
him only a few weeks ago. Funeral services were held at the M.E.
Church at Linden Tuesday March 6, conducted by the pastor Rev.
C.M. Roberts. Burial was in the West cemetery at Panora.
