Since this latter date she has engaged in her chosen profession as a trained nurse and it was while at her work in Des Moines that she became ill. She went to Des Moines about a year ago. At the time of her death she was an active member of the Forrest Avenue Baptist church of Des Moines. The funeral services were held yesterday at 11 o'clock at the house. Rev. J.L. Brown preached the sermon. The remains were buried in the east cemetery, where Hope Chapter 190 O.E.S. of which the deceased was a member, gave their ritualistic funeral service.
