The funeral of Arta Moore was one of the largest ever held in Panora.
Friends were present from Des Moines, Grinnell, Guthrie Center, Yale, and
many other places.

Mr. and Mrs. M.F. Moore, of Denver arrived Tuesday from the west to be
present at the funeral of Mr. Moore's sister.
[submitters note: This would be for the funeral of Arta Moore, who was
murdered by M.E. Stinson, her husband, whom she had secretly married October
14, 1892, in Wapello County, Iowa.
