Those Killed in Train Wreck
Chas. Gilbert, of this town, top of head smashed and both feet
cut off, besides many other wounds. He was killed instantly. He
was buried on Tuesday by the Masonic fraternity and by the Grand
Army of the Republic, in both of which orders he was an honorable
member. Several Masonic brethren from Dale City and the Hub were
present and a very large gathering of people from all over the
country. The deceased was highly respected. He leaves a large
family, with but little, if any, means to live upon.
