For the past eight years he has been faithful in driving a school bus, feeling keenly the responsibility for the lives of the children in his care. Mr. Simmerman's age at the time of his death was 51 years 7 months 3 days. He was of a family of 12 children, all living with the exception of one brother who died in infancy and Arthur who died in France during the world war. Those remaining to mourn his passing are his father, Esther, his daughter,. his second wife and daughter Betty Neil, four sisters, Mrs. Mabel Stinson of Trenton, Missouri; Mrs. Margaret Coy and Mrs. Mary Arterburn of Omaha; Mrs. Mattie Baughman of Griswold.
