William Justus Bartholomei
Wm. Justus Bartholomei was born in Sidney, Iowa, May 21, 1863,
and died at Hastings, Nebraska, April 1, 1920, aged 56 years, 10
months and 21 days. He was married to Mrs. Lizzie Hagen November
11, 1908, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. In 1916 he was converted and
joined the Baptist church at Glenwood, Iowa and has been a
faithful Christian ever since. He leaves a wife and two stepsons,
an aged father and mother and one sister to mourn his loss. He
was buried from the family residence on Monday, Apr. 5, at 2
o'clock.
"Billy" as he was generally known among us in Sidney
was esteemed by all who knew him. He was ever a man who did not
have much to say but went quietly about his own affairs. He was
now gone to claim his reward. The aged, sorrowing parents and
family have the deepest sympathy of all.
