Mrs. W. E. Whisler Dead
Mrs. W. E. Whisler died at a hospital in Shenandoah last Sunday,
following an operation. Mrs. Gertrude Morgan - Whisler was born
near Hamburg October 12, 1877, and was 40 years old. She was
married to W. E. Whisler June 22, 1898. They moved on a farm near
Riverton where they lived until 1908, when they moved to
Shenandoah. They moved back to their farm in 1911 and to
Shenandoah again in 1916. The deceased is survived by her husband
and seven children who are Mrs. Lois Deater and Wendell, Wilford,
Clitus, Pauline, Maxine and Rita. Her mother Mrs. E. H. Morgan of
Hamburg, and a brother Lyman Morgan of Riverton and a halfbrother
Tom Morgan of Hubbell, Nebraska, and two sisters Mrs. Lulu
Sherlock of Riverton and Mrs. Segil Pauly of Hamburg.
