Hamburg News
The Overland Trail, a new highway that is to cross Iowa from
Spirit Lake on the north to Hamburg on the south, is being
officially marked this week by President C. H. Clevis and
Secretary C. E. Bradley. Never before has an automobile highway
met with such instantaneous success and enthusiastic support that
this one has. Only a few months ago a meeting was held in
Atlantic by representatives of towns across the state from Spirit
Lake to Hamburg. The meeting was well attended from practically
all the larger towns and villages.
