Wednesday.

Mrs. Laura HILLHOUSE died Saturday at her home in Green Hollow
Southwest of Tabor, at the age of 43 years. Her death is
peculiarly sad on account of the circumstances in which the
father and several motherless children are left.
The house burned down about a year ago, since then the family
have lived in a "dug out". The cause of her death was
pneumonia. Interment was made at Thurman.
Obituary.
Laura Elizabeth KERAN was born in Marshall Co., Illinois March
21,1867; departed this life December 4,1909. She was united in
marriage to James HILLHOUSE in June 1893 and to this union eight
children were born of whom four are living, Ray 21 years, Carrie
17 years, Alice 13 years, Lawrence 9 yers. Besides these she
leaves a husband, parents, one brother and five sisters to mourn
her loss. She obeyed the Gospel in the ordinance of the Latter
Day Saints Church May 4, 1904.
