J.T. Harris and wife, who live in the western part of Sidney
township, are very cordial and accommodating people. Not long
since two carriage loads of Sidney people drove by their
beautiful fruit farm and asked for a certain kind of fruit. The
fruit was
not ripe but instead Mr. Harris took a large basket that would
hold perhaps a bushel and a half and filled it full of the finest
muskmelons you ever saw and dumped them into the carriage. Mr.
Harris has scads of these melons. His farm is covered with all
kinds of fruit.
