Tribune: W.H. Wyant, of Tabor, president of the City
Telephone Co., was transacting business at the county seat
Monday. His business was paying taxes for his company on their
lines in the county. He deposited with County treasurer Carson a
little over $93, being the taxes for 1901 and some back taxes for
1900 which were overlooked in some manner by the company. He was
just a little late in paying up, but then their company is doina
a splendid business in this county and they don't miss a few
extra dollars even if it is for taxes.
