V.B. Hamilton, who resigned as county agent here to accept a
position with the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, has been
assigned to a post as fieldman in charge of a large area in west
central Iowa with headquarters at Denison, and he and Mrs.
Hamilton will move to Denison after January 1st.
Manning W. Howell, of Grundy Center, was hired yesterday as farm
agent for the Franklin County Farm Bureau to succeed V.B.
Hamilton, who recently resigned.
Miss Frances Purcell, member of the faculty of Brownell Hall in
Omaha, is home for the holiday vacation.
Mr. and Mrs. R.H. Boehmier and two children plan to leave
Christmas morning on a motor trip to Fort Smity, Arkansas, where
they will spend a couple of weeks visiting at the home of her
sister, Mrs. Wallace Krieg.
