Announcement has been made of the marriage of Everett Edward
Eischeid of this city and Margaret Jean Dunlop, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. George Dunlop of Orange City, Ia. The couple will make
their home in Orange City, where he is athletic coach of the
Orange City schools.
Weather observer, John T. Ridler, informed the Register
this morning that the mercury in Oelwein dropped to 16 degrees
above zero last night, unusually cold weather for April.
A. H. Retz, 16 5th Ave., N.W., brought his brown water cocker
spaniel into the Register today. The dog, who is very
intelligent, gave several demonstrations.
Mrs. Robert Connor and grandson, Dale, returned from Des Moines
where they visited for the past several days in the home of Mr.
and Mrs. Otto Sampson. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. Sherman
Erickson at Cedar Falls.
