One day last week as a little boy nine years of age, son of J.
Morrison, of Hopkinton, was out when his father was threshing;
the boy went to cross the tumbling rod, when his clothes in
someway got caught and brought him to the ground and stripped
every inch of clothing from his body and put one of his thighs
out place. A surgeon was called to set the joints and at last
accounts the little fellow was getting along finely. So says a
Hopkinton correspondent for the Manchester Union.
Delaware County has been indulging in several weddings recently.
Among them we notice the marriage of Miss Maggie Rea, of
Colesburg to Mr. Myers-who departed to Dakota with her
immediately.
--E. M. Nix of Manchester, has made a bride of Miss Marcia Tuttle
of Elyria, Ohio.
--Harvey Hogg has married Miss Emma Berlin, both of Grove Creek.
--Walter C. Westaway has married Helen Kipp.
--Royal Van Antwerp and Mary E. Strunk has concluded to trot
through life in double harness.
