ATTACKED BY A PANTHER
A few days since, as a man on Yellow River, Iowa, was driving his
ox team along the road, he suddenly felt the claws of some animal
in his shoulder. After a short struggle he succeeded in shaking
him off, when getting hold of his pitch fork, he attacked it and
drove it off. It proved to be a very large panther. This is the
first that has been seen in this region for some years -Prairie
