LOCAL NEWS NOTES
Mrs. Fred Cook and Edna were Spencer visitors Wednesday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Chapman and Patty Lou were Thanksgiving dinner guests in the G. H. Chapman home at Jackson, Minnesota.
Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Chapman and Mrs. E. E. Rickman were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Shaffer and Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Shaffer Wednesday.
Mrs. Ewing and daughter, Mrs. Cleone Kumzak, of Milford, were dinner guests at the Fred Cook home Sunday evening, Mabel Cook of Jackson, Minnesota, was home for the day.
Chas. Maas, Artie and Vernon Maas, Mr. and Mrs. Everett Maas of Meriden, Charlotte and Eva Hewitt and Andy Heineken were Thanksgiving dinner guests in the Harley Maas home.
Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Coleman left Thursday morning for Des Moines, where they were entertained to Thanksgiving dinner in the George Seicks home. Mrs. Seicks is a sister of Mrs. Coleman. They returned home that evening.
