MRS. ELIZABETH MELCHER
Mrs. Elizabeth Melcher, 76 years old and a resident of Burlington for sixty years died at her home, 1125 Osborn street, Sunday evening. Funeral services will be held from the St. Patrick's Catholic church on Thursday morning at 9 o'clock.

Mrs. Melcher was born in St. Joe, Ind. on October 9, 1850. At the age of 16 years she came to Burlington and has made her home here since that time. She was a member of the St. Patrick's Catholic church and of the Ladies' Aid society of that church. Her husband proceded her in death on January 6, 1921. Surviving are one son, G. H. Melcher of Burlington; one daughter, Mrs. Anne Haskell of LaGrange, Ill; one grandchild and two great grandchildren.
