DIETZ
Peter Dietz succumbed to an attack of pneumonia in Union Township at 9 o'clock Sunday morning. He was born in Germany in October, 1868 and came to Burlington as a young man. He devoted himself to agricultural pursuits, worked hard and prospered as he deserved. He is survived by the widow, a son; Arlo and a daughter, Ruth both at home; also two brothers Daniel Dietz of West Burlington, and William Dietz of New London, and a sister, Mrs Elizabeth Haller here. The funeral will be held from Spring Creek Church at 2 o'clock this (Tuesday) afternoon with interment in Rock Spring Cemetery. Friends are invited to these services.
