BUSINESS MEETING
Election of Officers

   The regular annual meeting of the Hawkeye Pioneer and Old Settlers' association was held Thursday afternoon on the grounds.
    Secretary Blackmer offered an amendment to the constitution providing that the annual meeting of the association should be held on the day of the annual reunion which was adopted.
    It was moved, seconded and carried, a committee of three be appointed to select officers to be voted on for the ensuing year.
    The following officers were then elected:
    John Patterson-President
    John Burkholder, Harvey Seeds, R.B. Foster, James Q. Walker, O.L. Portlock-Vice-Presidents.
    E.C. Blackmer-Secretary
    G. Chamberlain-Treasurer.
    A motion that the names of all new members be printed in addition to those already was seconded and prevailed. There being no other business the meeting was adjourned. The following
