...A couple of days was spent last week down the big valley, at Orange and Santa Anna. At the latter place I found Doctor Crane and his new made bride from Burlington (nee Minnie Schenck) very cosily situated, and was very kindly received by them. Mrs. Crane seemed highly pleased to meet one directly from the home of her youthful and brightest days. With the parting of the dear ones at home yet fresh in her memory, she seems to be well pleased with her new home, and the doctor happy in the possession of his new bride...
