AARON HOOKS DIED SUDDENLY AT HOME
Former Resident of Adel Passed Away at Farson While Wife was Visiting Relatives Here.

Aaron Hooks who will be remembered by many of the older residents of the community and who lived here for many years, died very suddenly at his home near Farson Iowa on Wednesday of last week, November 13th. News of his death came as a shock to the relatives here: Mrs. Hooks was visiting with her brothers and sister when the message came telling of her husbands death. He had apparently been in good health and had just returned to the house after finishing the milking when he fell over lifeless. Mr. Hooks was 61 years of age. He was the son of William and Martha Hooks, and was born February 9, 1868. He was married to Viola Skinner November 5, 1891 and to them five children were born. One daughter Eva is dead. A son Lester Hooks is a missionary in India. The other children are Edwin, Lawrence, and Corbin. He is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Lonnie Van Cleave of Adel.
