"Wm. Adams and his four sons, part of whom reside in this
county, and the others, just over the line in Greene, had, up
until Tuesday of last week, trapped and destroyed one hundred and
forty-two bushels of 'hoppers and are still at work. If all
farmers could spare the time to turn out and do likewise the
grassshopper pest would be done away with for one season at
least."
