The Cedar Rapids Times gives an account of a singular
and sudden death, which occurred in that place a few days since.
Mr. Lucas Houser, who was digging up a grave, struck and brought
open a coffin, when the deadly effluvia affected him so that he
had barely strength enough to crawl from the grave to the fence
which surrounded it, when he fell, face downward, and expired. He
leaves a wife and three children.
