Local Personal and Miscellaneous
-Rember the Sociable at the residence of Dr. Chase this evening
-D.S. Peck, Esq., of Mallory, paid his subscription last week in specie (five cent, nickels) done up in a nice little bundle tied with a tow string.
-A.F. Tipton and lady started off on Monday to Dubuque, St. Louis and Chicago.
-A.W. Daugherty has gone to Chicago after new goods.
-J.E. Bagley, of National, who has just closed a successful term of school at that place, was in town yesterday.
-Elijah Hill, the famous deer hunter of Clayton County, promises 20 coons for the Old Settlers' Festival.

The new German paper of Guttenburg, Der Waschter am Mississippi has made its appearance, we learn. Not having received one, we are unable to pass our opinion.

Married.
In Strawberry Point, March 17th, 1872, at the residence of the bride's father by Rev. W.J. Hicks, Mr. W. Dunsmoor, to Miss E.J. Bemis. May they walk the rugged path of life happily together, with no fears of the ugly thorns growing by the wayside, and may their lives be one long beautiful holiday, always out of the shade into the glorius sunshine.

Estate of John Reinke, Deceased.
To Frederike Reinke, Ferdinand Reinke and Frederick Reinke, known heirs at law of John Reinke, late of said county, deceased, and all others concerned:
You are hereby notified, that at a regular term of the Circuit Court of Clayton County, Iowa, held on the 29th day of January A.D. 1872, there was opened and publicly read, an instrument of writing purporting to be the last will and testament of John Reinke, late of said county, deceased; and you are further notified that the second day of the next erm of said Court, commencing on the 1st day of July, A.D. 1872, has been set as the day for the final hearing and proof of said will, at which time all persons interested may appear and show cause why the same should not be admitted to probate,
