Suicide Attempt.
Logan SUITS, son of J.A. SUITS attempted suicide by drowning in what is known as the grade pond in South Osceola, last Saturday evening. LOGAN and his father had some difficulty during the day and that evening he told his father he was going to jump into the lake and drown himself. He started for the lake, removing his clothes as he went. His father started after him and feeling concerned for his son's life, called to Will RUSHING who was near by and he also joined in the chase. LOGAN reached the lake before the others and without delay jumped head foremost into the water. It was said that he was sinking for the last time when Mr. RUSHING without taking time to remove his clothes jumped in after him and brought him to the shore where he was revived. The store operated on the west side of the square by Mr. SUITS and his son has been closed since the incident and it is said that both men have left the city.
